Summary:Whoever put this inside the fortune cookie is sending me a message to investigate each location.

I broke open the fortune cookie, and there was a map on the tiny slip of paper. I immediately retired to my kitchen for my final cup of coffee and to put the take out containers in the trash ready for the next pick up.
Setting the paper on the counter I realised it wasn’t possible to fold the paper yet the map filled both sides of the fortune.
Once I had my drink, I remained standing and I studied it, taking in every contour, every groove and I noticed that there were several dots on each side, these prompted me to take my magnifier glass out and on further inspection I discovered they were the names of abandoned homes around Cabot Cove.
Whoever put this map inside the fortune cookie is sending me a message to investigate each location. For what reason, I do not know but they seem to be aware that I enjoy solving puzzles and I am going to solve this one too.
